Josh 簽約後表示：I’m really excited to be joining Team Sky, and to be taking this next step in my career. It’s an amazing set up and a huge project. Meeting the team you can see that it is one big unit and that the support you get – with the best coaches and nutritionists in the world — is second to none. I see myself as a climbing specialist, but my main aim with Team Sky is to develop my tour riding and get used to competing alongside the best riders in the world. I think the first year is a lot about settling in and learning to be part of the team. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and further appreciating how to race at this level.

2. Scarponi 不爽，服刑3 個月車監，嚷著要退休
Scarponi 表示：Why should I even serve one day? I am insulted, my manhood questioned, my reputation sullied. I have decided to retire because this sport is cruel and unjust.

特別是2007 年Operacion Puerto investigation 已經誤判Scarponi 18 個月車監(為此誤判，Scarponi 正會同律師向CAS 上訴，打算讓CONI 給個公道)
3. 2013 WorldTour 點數分析
一月22 - 十月20，共154 天賽事
三大賽加起來，扣掉休息日，有63 天，佔總體40%
其他多日賽共77 天...因此多日賽就佔了整年度比賽的91%(140 天)
而剩下的9 ％(14 天)，則是五大古典賽，以其他還不夠古典的比賽(Clasica San Sebastian, Vattenfall Cyclassics and the GP Cycliste de Québec)分食...

三月忙到炸！
一年大約16664 點，前10 大車隊平均1220點/隊
因此...以搶積分而言
三月佔了20%，加上四月春季古典賽就超過了1/3 的年度積分...這是兵家必爭之地
六月，環義剛結束，環法要開始，似乎氣氛正熱著哩...偏偏積分少得可憐
大雞慢啼的車隊到了九, 十月，只剩渣可以撿了
