車隊GM Ed Beamon 表示:We were looking forward to having Kai Feng wear his new Taiwan national champion jersey for the first time in Beijing, but the Taiwan Federation has banned his participation and threatened to bar him from any future national team competitions if he joins the team in China's premier event. I am both saddened and sickened by the provincial pettiness the Taiwan Cycling Federation has displayed. Our goal as a team has always been to provide the greatest opportunity for our athletes, and especially to give our Asian cyclists the chance to challenge themselves and push their limits in international competition.

  1. 我實在搞不懂,讓國內其他好手代替馮去參加"他們(車協)所謂認為重要的比賽",而讓已轉成職業的馮去追求他的職業生涯,有何困難?在我看來,就是自私與沒有長期培養選手的心態,只想撿現成(讓別人訓練,而幫車協拿牌取得官員自己的"成績")
