除了持續挹注確定成為2013 WorldTour 的男子隊之外，女子隊也簽下2012 世錦賽青年女子冠軍Lucy Garner

同時島野家也與Argos-Shimano 合作執行亞洲選手育成計畫

目前有中國人計成，以及日本人土井雪広在車隊中效力

Shimano 真是有心啊！ 讓我們一同期待台灣傳產GIANT 在新年度會不會有更大的突破呢？



2. Lotto Belisol 加入車隊自律反禁藥組織Mouvement Pour un Cyclisme Crédible



MPCC 是由前Credit Agricole 經理Roger Legeay 與Garmin-Sharp 經理Jonathan Vaughters 以及FDJ 經理Marc Madiot 聯手創立，他們主張：Not to sign riders who have been suspended for doping, to control the use of corticoid injections and immediately suspend riders from racing if they fail an anti-doping control.

目前會員車隊有：Ag2r La Mondiale, Bretagne- Schuller, Cofidis, Team Europcar, FDJ, Garmin-Sharp, Argos-Shimano, Swiss IAM, Netapp, Sojasun

Lotto Belisol 經理Marc Sergeant 對於他們車隊加入表示：We want to give a signal, to make a sort of statement. Lotto Belisol wants to cooperate properly, think along and participate in the new movement. In the past there was only a minority that openly wanted to be involved in the new way of thinking; I think we should strive for a majority. I think the time for words should be over, and that it's time they're transformed into actions. When you see the reactions some riders in the peloton, I am convinced that the present generation is doing things right. The introduction of the biological passport, among other things, has been important for it to happen. The Lotto Belisol team accepted the important role that major teams can play in taking a stance against doping. With its history in cycling, the opportunities the team offers to young riders, the attention for guidance and education and the will to be part of the WorldTour as an ethically correct team. Lotto Belisol thinks it's a must to be rather a pioneer than a follower in an era in which cycling is in need of positive signals.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and messages over the last 48 hours, and of course all the staff at the Royal Preston Hospital who looked after me so well.

Although I’m still a little bit sore I will now be spending time at home with my family and concentrating on making a full recovery.

I would also like to apologise for the gesture that I made when I arrived home yesterday afternoon. I was tired, in a lot of pain, and just wanted to get inside, but I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did. I’m sorry for that.

I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike soon and continuing my preparations for the 2013 season.

1. 昨天威鯨被撞，無獨有偶的，他的教練Shane Sutton 也被撞了

英國車協官網證實：British Cycling has confirmed that Shane Sutton, head coach for the GB Cycling Team, was involved in an incident this morning on the A6 near Levenshulme in Manchester.Shane was taken into hospital where it was identified he has suffered bruising and bleeding on the brain. He is set to undergo more tests, and is likely to stay in hospital for the next few days.

It is extremely rare that our riders and coaches are hurt while out cycling on the road, even rarer that two incidents should occur in a short space of time, and we wish Shane and Bradley a speedy recovery.

英國車協會動起來，再掀一波革命？ 他們呼籲政府--put cycling “at the heart of transport policy to ensure that cycle safety is built into the design of all new roads, junctions and transport projects, rather than being an afterthought.”

1. 威鯨出車禍被撞，送醫無大礙



據說是在自家附近的加油站被加滿油的麵包車給A 了

當地報紙Lancashire Evening Post 表示：By the time I got there he had moved to a safer place but was still on the ground and he was in a lot of pain. He said he thought he had broken his ribs and while a lot of police cars arrived it was about 15 minutes before the ambulance got there by which time he was blue.

當地警察表示威鯨可能斷了幾根肋骨，手與手腕也有傷

每個車架(都是54cm)測兩次
2.1. 使用其成車裝備與輪組測試

雖然他自己也承認他沒啥動力了，又有兩個年幼的孩子在家，但其實這又是一個受到UCI 點數制度波及的domestique...

在這樣搞下去任勞任怨的domestique 會絕跡，車手們的出路也會越來越窄...



2. Scarponi 因為與Dr. Ferrari 曾經有過聯繫，被Lampre-ISD 吊起來等判決



Lampre-ISD 表示：We've followed our internal medical policy and Michele has been suspended by the team doctor Carlo Guardascione. The suspension began on October 25, when Michele released his statement. We've notified the Italian Cycling Federation of the suspension.

吊起來也就表示車隊會停止支付Scarponi 70 萬歐的薪水，直到調查結果出爐

幸好Scarponi 出人意料的配合調查，希望能損管

3. 澳洲人Rochelle Gilmore 成立DTPC Honda Pro Cycling 女子隊

敦奧金牌Joanna Rowsell, Laura Trott, Danielle King 以及前兩屆世錦冠軍Giorgia Bronzini 都將加入

Bronzini 表示：I'm glad to be a part DTPC Honda Team because I believe in Rochelle Gilmore and her project. Although it is a new team, I am confident that we will take good satisfaction and I'm sure that between us girls there will be harmony.

1. Emma Pooley 2013 加入瑞士車隊 Bigla Cycling



由於AA Drink-leontien.nl 本季跑完之後解散，讓Emma 萌生退意，想去把地質工程學博士學位唸完

不過她現在很興奮的表示：I’m looking forward to this new challenge and I’ll do my best to help the young riders on the Bigla team to make the step up. I’ve raced against a lot of them in local races in Switzerland and I can see how talented they are. We will be a force to be reckoned with in 2013. Next year will be different for me than the last few years, because I’ll be spending the winter studying to finish my Ph.D. … that will mean a slower start to the season. But Bigla will give me plenty of racing opportunities, some fun new challenges, and also the freedom to focus a bit on my own goals in the time trial.

1. SKINS 向UCI 提出求償200 萬鎂的告訴

自2008 年開始SKINS 就贊助了許多車隊與機構：CyclingAustralia, BikeNZ, USA Cycling, Rabobank Professional Cycling Team, Team Europcar, Team NetApp, Team Telekom

但由於UCI 腐敗無能，加上USADA 將壯爺案掀翻了天，SKINS 發表聲明，認為UCI 該為他們的損失負責



2. Soigneur 的生活｜Robyn Taylor



Soigneur 這樣念...

2.1. Soigneur 基本上得具備物理治療專才...職業公路車壇中女性的soigneur 很少，但越來越多了

2.2. Soigneur 的工作職掌是照顧車手硬體之外的的需求，這句話描述得很好：The daily routine can include massage, the treatment of injuries, transport of riders and equipment, food for before, during and after the race… plus a whole lot more.

Robyn Taylor 這句很妙：Some days I feel like I have nine children to look after; surely one of the reasons why Giovanni Lombardi calls me Mum(姐控？！).

2.3. 按摩佔了Soigneur 很大部份的工作，而每位車手對於按摩的需求都不一樣，soigneur 得一一滿足(當然整脊也是很重要的一環)

2.4. 基本上照護車手的身體，是由隊醫來統籌向soigneur 發號司令的

比較特別的是，有時soigneur 會隨身帶一些軟膏或是乳霜，以備不時之需，而這些會吸收進身體裡的東西，得經過隊醫檢查認可才能使用(因為有可能會不小心用到禁藥)

2. Compression Wear 正夯，到底有沒有效？



多年來，醫生都藉由壓縮襪來改上糖尿病，以及長期臥床病人的循環，治療淋巴水腫與靜脈炎

1980 年代，專業運動員們也開始思考如何應用。很快的，就有車手在比賽後脫掉車褲穿上女性的褲襪...

CW-X, Skins, 2XU 都聲稱可以有效的加速恢復；如果是運動時穿著，甚至可以增強表現

澳洲Charles Sturt University 的運動生理學家Rob Duffield, PhD 甚至已經發表了三篇論文，提到對於自行車車手可以藉此加速恢復，而長跑跑者也因為穿著而得到助益

但另一位澳洲Murdoch University 的運動生理學家Jeremiah Peiffer, PhD 卻表示：騎車(肌肉在使用時收縮-concentric motion)與跑步等其他運動(肌肉在使用時拉長-eccentric)不同，可能導致延遲性肌肉酸痛，這時壓力裝的確能有效的促進恢復，但...It's highly unlikely that you'll get DOMS as a cyclist, so it's very hard to find a study that makes a clear claim.

那...職業車手(特別是三鐵選手)到底為何把自己塞進緊得要命的壓力裝裡？

FDJ 發言人Frédéric Riou 向隊報表示：This contract was signed with BigMat International and not with BigMat France, and it wasn’t able to be renewed due to the current economic situation of its foreign subsidiaries. The recent scandals in cycling have nothing to do with this decision. In concrete terms, this won’t have any effect on the cycling team, which will continue next season under the sole name of FDJ, while remaining open to finding another co-sponsor for 2014.

但其實BigMat 沒有完全退出車壇，在法國當地還有一支歐巡賽洲際隊BigMat-Auber 93 會跑到2013 年底

4. Paul Kimmage 開幹了！向瑞士Vevey 檢察官對UCI 主席Pat McQuaid 以及榮譽主席Hein Verbruggen 提出訴訟



Paul Kimmage 表示：I have initiated these proceedings not for myself—this is not about Paul Kimmage, but on behalf of the whistle blowers—Stephen Swart, Frankie Andreu, Floyd Landis, Christophe Bassons, Nicolas Aubier, Gilles Delion, Graeme Obree, and every other cyclist who stood up for truth and the sport they loved and were dismissed as ‘cowards’ and ‘scumbags’ by Verbruggen and McQuaid.

英國記者協會也公佈Paul Kimmage 所委任的律師事務所Bonnard-Lawson 聲明稿：Paul Kimmage complains, among other things, that he was dragged through the mud, that he was called a liar in public and accused in public of committing offenses against the honor after he had obtained the publication of an interview by Floyd Landis in which the latter denounced the conduct of the highest officials of the International Cycling Union (UCI).

把湯不能一手拱上巔峰的OPQS 經理Lefevere


要讓盤爺在明年環法穿上黃衫...放心啦，穿爽的～不可能穿回巴黎...


我想，最重要的是從OPQS 眾好手中趕快挑出列車人選，特別是lead-out man

Lefevere 這句話最妙：We don’t have a GC rider. Of course we have Peter Velits but it won’t be like this year for Cavendish at Sky.

2. 第一次自體輸血就上手｜inrng

這一篇寫得非常妙又詳盡，請容我節錄重點......請注意，比賽作弊是違規而且不道德的！




It came to prominence in 1984 when the US Olympic cycling team used the technique and was also used by Francesco Moser around the same time when he went for the hour record. The idea is simple:

2.1. An athlete gives blood from which the red blood cells are stored for later use.
2.2. The body notices the reduced red blood cell count and slowly replenishes the supply.
2.3. A few weeks later the blood values are back to normal.
2.4. The athlete re-infuses the blood from storage, increasing the amount of red blood cells in their body.
2.5. The increased concentration of red blood cells in the body means more oxygen-carrying ability.


“I did a bag”
In fact it can all be done at home by a lone rider equipped with a blood bag, some tubing, a fridge and more. Italian rider Leonardo Bertagnolli is one such rider. A client of Ferrari, his deposition to the Italian police explains what happens:

“I don’t remember where Ferrari was for the first time he explained how to do an autotransfusions but I remember how he explained the all the ways to do it, saying to get the blood bags from veterinary channels… …indicating to me that I should extract from 350-500cc depending on my recovery times and goals. He told me to make a knot in the bag and to weigh it on the scales in way to know the weight of the amount just taken out; before inserting the needle to make a knot on the tube then to start the transfusion.”
