昨天的賽前記者會，這氣勢...馬來西亞政府真的砸重金跟歐陸同時舉行的K-B-K, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad 拼曝光

氣勢與決心！


看看賽事總監Emir Abdul Jalal 怎麼說：It’s a sports-tourism event like the Tour de France. The government took over the event in 2007 because it’s very important to show off the country as a sporting host. The other part is the tourism factor.

Cycling is unique in that it can showcase any nation. Any country that wants to show itself goes for cycling. With a Formula One race, for example, you only see the venue.

EuroSport television broadcasts the race so that we can show Malaysia internationally. You can show everything from the country: the people, their smiles and traditions, the cyclists. That’s why the government took over and decided to sponsor the event.

Having the ProTour teams is so important. For the broadcast, if the top teams race, then the more fans that will follow on the international broadcast. This year, we limited the number of teams to 50 percent, with the other 50 percent from the Asian Continental teams and Asian countries.

The Tour of Oman focuses on first-division riders, and they go because ASO runs it. Those races don’t provide much for the Asian teams, though. Tour of Langkawi allows the best Asian riders to fight against the top teams.

2. Giant - Shimano 也動作頻頻，勘查Het Nieuwsblad, Flanders...還測試古典專用管胎

畢竟是換贊助騎新車Giant Defy Advanced SL，總是要適應...


但就該隊車手貧弱的古典實力，GIANT 能不能複製2013 Paris-Roubaix Sep Vanmarcke 跨上Defy (當時Sep 座駕前三角是TCR，車子叫Tefy 有沒有比較貼切？)的成功就難說了



3. OPQS 一手好牌，古典賽要怎麼安排誰出戰？|inrng



今年湯不能，屎帶巴，貼布撕錯三本柱狀況都好，喔！還有盤爺...加上副將們(Matteo Trentin, Stijn Vandenbergh, Guillaume Van Keirsbulck, Gianni Meersman...)也都有趁機一搏...

這真的很考驗directeur sportif，怎麼端出一盤好菜，舉個例：2011 年Paris - Roubaix，Jonathan Vaughters 與Peter Van Petegem 決定讓Johan Van Summeren 後段單飛，而預定主將Thor Hushovd 吸引眾隊目光，達成牽制，Garmin-Sharp 也不會獲得隊史上古典賽的最大成就，Van Summeren 可能還在次級車隊Wanty-Groupe Gobert 死命拼出頭而未可知...當然，2012 年Garmin-Sharp 拱出Sep Vanmarcke 又引爆另一個話題...

另外，請注意超新星崛起，Volta ao Algarve 2014 GC 1，他曾經在2008 世錦賽Junior 男子ITT 海放Taylor Phinney...去年環法也曾穿上白衫...TT 底又能爬坡，前途無量



2. 歐陸大戰一觸即發

等哪天旺旺集團整合搞屎忑與中國時報，像比利時大報Het Nieuwsblad 免費供應自行車賽事導覽(附帶一瓶Kwaremont 泌魯)，台灣自行車運動才算真的起飛吧～

衛冕成功的弗嚕米讓轎夫保護得舒泰...


兔子初代在第一個衝刺點之前就被抓掉，之後大家輪番上陣，露露臉，試試車

Lotto Belisol 不愧是最有決心的衝刺列車(不然等回到歐陸，GC 無力，衝刺扛不住壓力，兔子又懶...版面與勝績又要被其他車隊洗版...)，順利的把龜波送上鋒線...Nacer Bouhanni (FDJ.fr) 順利黏在他後輪，但也只黏得住，無力超越


龜波又一勝，有點數就快撿～

這幾天忠心護主的Dario Cataldo (Sky) 賽後也鬆了口氣
